Cast Iron Fireplaces

The cast iron fireplace reproductions we sell are faithful copies of fireplaces used in the Victorian era. All of our fireplaces are delivered with a protective, oil-based coating on polished surfaces.
To enhance the finished effect of your fireplace a black grate polish can be used to give your fireplace a shine that will smile at you.

Casting makes the fireplaces.
Casting is a process by which a fluid melt is introduced into a mold, allowed to cool in the shape of the form, and then ejected to make a fabricated part or casing. Four main elements are required in the process of casting: pattern, mold, cores, and the part. The pattern, the original template from which the mold is prepared, creates a corresponding cavity in the casting material.
